Virtual Assistant – Education Consulting Lead Generation & Outreach
Job Description I am a college readiness and postsecondary pathways consultant with a background in Early College programs, first-generation student success, and equity-centered advising. I’m seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help identify and secure consulting opportunities with high schools, charter networks, nonprofits, and international schools. This role is focused on research, lead generation, and professional outreach—not general admin work. Key Responsibilities Research and identify: High schools, charter networks, NGOs, and international schools Decision-makers (Principals, Directors of College Counseling, Heads of School, Program Directors) Build and maintain a lead tracker (Google Sheets or Airtable) Send customized outreach emails (templates provided) Manage follow-ups and responses Support booking introductory calls via Calendly Monitor platforms (LinkedIn, EdSurge, RFP listings, etc.) for consulting opportunities Provide weekly progress summaries (leads contacted, responses, next steps) Ideal Candidate Required Experience as a Virtual Assistant, Research Assistant, or Lead Generator Strong written English and professional email etiquette Excellent online research skills Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) Highly organized and responsive Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience in education, higher education, or nonprofit sectors Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach CRM or lead-tracking experience Experience supporting consultants, coaches, or small firms Tools You’ll Use Google Sheets Gmail LinkedIn Calendly Notion (optional) Hours & Compensation 10 hours per week to start Potential to increase hours based on performance Hourly rate: $5–$10/hour (based on experience) Long-term opportunity for the right candidate How to Apply Please include: A brief summary of your experience with lead generation or research Any experience working with education, schools, or nonprofits An example of a professional outreach email you’ve written (or explain your approach) Your time zone and availability Applicants who do not follow these instructions will not be considered.
