U.S.-Based Startup Lawyer Needed for Dating App / Fintech-Adjacent Platform (Pre-Launch)

Remote Full-time
I’m the founder of a U.S.-based startup building a premium, consumer-facing dating app. We’re preparing for an MVP/pre-launch and are looking for an experienced U.S.-licensed startup or tech lawyer to help ensure we are legally launch-ready. This is not a large corporate engagement — we’re looking for a focused, startup-friendly lawyer who understands early-stage products and app launches. Scope of Work (Phase 1 – Pre-Launch): Draft or review Terms & Conditions Draft or review Privacy Policy (CCPA/CPRA compliant) App-specific disclaimers & limitation of liability Review platform rules for a dating/social app Confirm IP ownership language (app, brand, content) Ensure compliance with Apple App Store & Google Play requirements Nice to Have (not required): Experience with dating, social, or marketplace apps Startup / MVP launch experience Familiarity with consumer protection issues Requirements: Must be U.S.-licensed Experience working with startups or tech products Clear, practical communication (no over-lawyering) Ability to work on a fixed-price or clearly scoped engagement Budget: Open to discussion — looking for a reasonable startup-stage engagement, not a long-term retainer at this stage. To Apply, Please Include: Your U.S. state of licensure Examples of similar startup or app work Your recommended approach for a pre-launch legal setup Apply tot his job
