As part of the AI safety and security initiative, this role involves working on critical systems that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and models in distributed, highly secure environments. If you have a passion for cryptographic systems, secure computing, and ensuring robust security for cutting-edge AI models, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement cryptographic protocols to secure AI models and data. Contribute to building trusted computing environments in the context of AI. Work on designing secure and efficient cryptographic algorithms. Collaborate with other security engineers to design system-level security solutions. Ensure secure deployment and operation of cryptographic systems in the cloud and distributed settings. Research and implement techniques to mitigate vulnerabilities and attacks on AI systems. Required Qualifications: Expertise in cryptography (public-key cryptography, symmetric-key encryption, etc.). Experience with secure hardware (e.g., TPM, HSM) and trusted execution environments. Strong background in systems programming (C, C++, Rust, etc.). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Strong understanding of system security, cryptographic protocols, and attack mitigation strategies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Cryptography, Computer Security, or a related field. Experience in blockchain technology or decentralized systems. Contributions to open-source cryptography or security projects. Deep understanding of formal verification methods for security systems.
