As a Performance Coach at Brain Balance of Wexford, you'll be at the forefront of this mission, working with kids aged 4-18 who struggle with conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Asperger's, ODD, Dyslexia, and various Learning and Processing Disorders. Key Responsibilities Work with children aged 4-18 who face social, emotional, academic, and behavioral struggles, providing personalized support and guidance. Implement our proprietary program, utilizing sensory and motor activities to stimulate brain development and promote positive change. Collaborate with families and our multidisciplinary team to create a comprehensive support network for each child. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each child's needs, creating tailored plans to help them achieve their goals. Participate in ongoing training and professional development, ensuring you're equipped to provide the highest level of support. Work part-time hours, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, between 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., allowing for a great work-life balance. Essential Qualifications We're looking for individuals with a genuine passion for helping children and their families. To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum age of 18 (on or before the first day of employment). Eligibility to work in the United States. The ability to pass a background check, criminal check, and child abuse clearance. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. A steady supply of empathy, compassion, enthusiasm, patience, kindness, and reliability. Strong curiosity and a desire to learn about why children struggle. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: A background in psychology, education, special education, child care, behavioral health, health science, or a related field. Experience working with children, whether as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or in another capacity.
