Technical Product Manager (Hybrid, Must Be Local To Greater Seattle, WA Area)
About the position Technical Product Manager / Hybrid - Seattle, WA / (9 Month Contract) Must be local to the greater Seattle, WA are due to mandatory hybrid schedule (3-4 days onsite required) We’re seeking a Technical Product Manager with strong technical expertise to lead backend platform integrations in a high-traffic Azure environment. The ideal candidate will have experience driving the full product development lifecycle, managing cross-functional teams, and writing technical specs and user stories for API-based solutions. Proficiency in system architecture, real-time APIs, Event Hubs, JSON/XML, and data analysis is essential. This long-term contract offers the opportunity to work on strategic data products with potential for extension and full-time conversion. Responsibilities • Product Ownership: Understand product vision, technical architecture, and business objectives; act as the subject matter expert for stakeholders. • Outcome-Driven Delivery: Prioritize features based on business value and KPIs; leverage data and insights to guide decisions. • Requirements & Documentation: Create clear product requirement documents, acceptance criteria, and test cases for API-driven solutions. • Technical Acumen: Work on system integrations, real-time APIs, Event Hubs, and data analysis using JSON/XML; resolve technical blockers and collaborate on architecture decisions. • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain proactive communication, integrate feedback, and build strong relationships across business and engineering teams. • Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, manage backlog, and ensure sprint goals align with the product roadmap. • Analysis & KPIs: Define and monitor product performance metrics; identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Requirements • Experience leading cross functional teams focused on backend platform integration with high traffic in an Azure environment. • Highly proficient at defining technical specs/user stories, backlog management, understanding system architecture decision making in enterprise environments • Experience driving product development lifecycle, managing, influencing, and communicating with various level stakeholders/teams • System integrations and understanding of real time APIs and Event Hubs. • Experience writing user stories where an API is the solution and acceptance criteria/ test cases to validate API accuracy • Strong understanding of JSON and XML and a strong ability to dig through data and databases. • Proven ability to develop clear user stories and acceptance criteria for API-driven solutions. • Deep understanding of enterprise system architecture, scalability, and maintainability. • Skilled in system integrations, real-time APIs, Event Hubs, and data analysis using JSON/XML. • Strong communication skills to influence outcomes and build consensus across diverse teams. • Experience applying business metrics to measure product performance and success. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve ambiguity, and deliver results in an agile environment.
