The Software Engineer in the Commerce + Ecosystems team will design and maintain robust software systems, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful commerce solutions. Responsibilities Designs, develops, and maintains distributed software systems using modern technologies Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements and contributes to product definition and scoping Codes high-quality software, performs unit testing, and integrates components into larger systems Diagnoses and resolves technical issues, ensuring maintainable and scalable solutions Breaks down work items into tasks, estimates development effort, and improves development processes Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system features for degradation or downtime and restores functionality as needed Contributes to the design and architecture of new services, leveraging AI tools and cloud technologies Skills Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
