Revenue Growth Manager
Description • Own the entire revenue growth engine for Story Cannabis across four active states (Arizona, Maryland, Ohio, Louisiana) and every future market we enter. You will architect, test, and scale repeatable playbooks that turn our dispensaries, wholesale channels, and e-commerce into a high-velocity, data-driven growth machine. • Build and continuously refine a 360° revenue strategy that balances short-term cash acceleration with long-term brand equity. This includes pricing architecture, promotional cadence, SKU rationalization, and market-level P&L ownership that directly impacts EBITDA and investor returns. • Partner daily with Retail Ops, Cultivation, Manufacturing, and Compliance to ensure supply plans, inventory turns, and customer demand curves stay in lock-step. You will translate cultivation harvest schedules into sell-through forecasts and negotiate with wholesale buyers to eliminate excess inventory before it becomes a margin drag. • Design and deploy a best-in-class CRM and loyalty ecosystem that turns first-time shoppers into lifelong advocates. You will segment customers by lifetime value, purchase frequency, and product preference, then trigger hyper-personalized campaigns that lift average order value and visit frequency. • Lead cross-functional “growth squads” composed of marketers, data analysts, field reps, and product managers. You will run weekly sprints, set OKRs, and use rapid experimentation (A/B tests, geo-lift studies, in-store pilots) to validate every assumption before scaling spend. • Establish a single source of truth for revenue analytics. You will stand up dashboards in Metabase/Tableau that track daily sales, budtender performance, wholesale velocity, and promo ROI. Insights must be simple enough for store managers to act on in real time yet deep enough for the C-suite to forecast quarterly board decks. • Negotiate and manage key wholesale partnerships with multi-state operators, regional distributors, and boutique dispensaries. You will create tiered pricing agreements, volume rebates, and co-marketing funds that expand Story’s shelf space while protecting gross margin. • Spearhead new market entry revenue planning. When we launch in states like New Jersey or Illinois, you will size TAM, model cannibalization risk, and build go-to-market forecasts that secure capital allocation and licensing approvals. • Champion compliance-first growth. You will ensure every promotion, discount, and loyalty point adheres to evolving state regulations (METRC, BioTrack, Leaf Data) and that marketing materials pass legal review without slowing campaign velocity. • Mentor and up-skill a high-potential revenue analyst and two field sales coordinators. You will institute weekly coaching rituals, career ladders, and performance scorecards that turn raw talent into a world-class growth organization. • Report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer with a mandate to double year-over-year revenue within 24 months while improving gross margin by at least 300 bps.
