Social Media Content Creator

Overview Kirvin Doak Communications is seeking a Content Creator with a passion for producing scroll-stopping, culturally relevant social media content across hospitality, retail, entertainment, and government clients. With over two decades as one of Las Vegas’ leading communications agencies, storytelling across digital platforms is at the heart of what we do. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing photos and short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok. Projects will range from aesthetic visual storytelling and brand education to interviews, on-the-ground content, event recaps, and fun, platform-native social moments. Each week you’ll receive new content assignments while also having the creative freedom to pitch and test new ideas. From concepting to filming to post-production, you’ll be hands-on in creating content that inspires, engages, and brings brands to life in real time. You’ll showcase client campaigns, events, and brand narratives through original content captured on-site at client locations, in-house, or on the go. This role blends creative vision with production execution, and requires a strong understanding of how to translate diverse brand stories into compelling social-first formats. This is a hybrid role based in Las Vegas. What You'll Do Ideate, film, and edit social-first content for campaigns, client initiatives, events, and ongoing brand storytelling Produce engaging content across Instagram and TikTok Edit content with strong attention to pacing, hooks, visual storytelling, sound, motion, and platform-aligned creative direction Pitch new concepts weekly, balancing consistent content pillars with creative experimentation Stay up to date on social trends, meme cycles, audio trends, and algorithm shifts to inform creative strategy Collaborate with Social, PR, and Marketing, and client teams to bring brand stories and campaigns to life Work with influencers, talent, and media partners when applicable Ensure all content aligns with client messaging, tone, objectives, and industry-specific guidelines Must Haves Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications, Journalism, Creative Media, Social Media, Marketing, or Film / Video Production, Graphic Design, Photography, or related field. 2+ years of social media content creation, strategy, and production experience 2+ years of iPhone videography/photography experience Portfolio of social-first videos and/or photography Your own equipment that we can insure Proficiency in social apps, Adobe Creative Suite, and CapCut Strong understanding of platform-native brand storytelling and digital consumer trends Excellent communication and copywriting skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client agency environment Deadline-driven with strong time management Bonus: Comfortable speaking on-camera or hosting short-form segments Bonus: Strong graphic design skills (Photoshop or similar) Perks & Benefits Opportunity to work with some of the most iconic brands in Las Vegas Collaborative team culture with major growth opportunities Year-end review and performance bonuses PTO + Paid Holidays Fully Paid Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Vision Insurance 401(k) 401(k) Matching 50% Hybrid Schedule (Dictated by Shoot Days) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Las Vegas, NV 89118 Apply tot his job
