About the position Jasco is currently seeking a creative and forward-thinking Social Media Content Creator who loves ideating and crafting social-first content that stops the scroll. If you're a natural storyteller with a knack for spotting trends and transforming product features into engaging content, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities • Plan, create, and publish engaging social media content across various platforms and brand accounts that align with brand guidelines and growth goals. • Own the day-to-day organic content calendar and posting schedule while always looking ahead for opportunities to support promotions, product launches, and brand storytelling. • Collaborate with marketing teams to bring campaigns to life and support product launches, promotions, and seasonal moments. • Work closely with designers, photographers, videographers, and others to create cohesive, scroll-stopping visuals and videos. • Capture and edit social content including short-form videos, voice overs, and photos onsite and on-the-go. • Stay ahead of trends by tapping into emerging tools, platforms, and social media moments to keep our content fresh and relevant. • Assist Social Media Coordinator with influencer collaborations - from researching new partners to gathering insights and coordinating deliverables. • Engage with the community across platforms, helping to grow our following and build authentic connections with our audiences. • Track and report on content performance, experiment based on analytics, and make creative recommendations based on what's working — or what we should try next. • Assist with local and national PR efforts for Jasco and our brands. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in the area of marketing, journalism, communications or in a related field is required. • A minimum of two years experience in social media content creation required. • Highly organized and forward-thinker who is great at planning, meeting deadlines, manage multiple brand accounts (voices), and stay organized without losing creativity. • An impressive portfolio of creative social media content preferably for consumer brands and products. • Know your way around Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, YouTube Shorts, and storytelling in 15 seconds or less. • Are confident shooting and editing on your phone and using tools like CapCut, Canva, etc. • Have excellent writing skills and ability to turn product features and tech specs into visually exciting content. • Are a team player who can collaborate while also taking ownership of projects from idea to execution. • Are curious, proactive, and energized by the fast-changing world of digital marketing.
