Our Ad Platforms team is responsible for building and operating the technology that supports Disney's industry-leading, multi-billion dollar global advertising business. About the Role We're seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Ad Platforms team, focusing on Live Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) operations. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for driving technical operations, troubleshooting, and problem-solving in high-volume production environments. Your expertise will help ensure the health, growth, and success of Disney's Addressable platform capabilities for Live DAI. Key Responsibilities Perform all aspects of Ad Platforms operations for the Live DAI - Technical Operations Channel, ensuring seamless execution and issue resolution. Manage hypercare monitoring during major events, rapidly escalating and resolving real-time issues, and conducting post-event analysis and reporting for stakeholders. Develop strong partnerships with Sales, Support, Engineering, Product Management, and Analytics leaders to drive strategic and tactical channel objectives. Execute communication plans and engage with key stakeholders to report progress and elevate issues. Monitor and contribute to the development of dashboards (DataDog, Conviva, etc.) to ensure channel KPIs are met, including ad-hoc/daily operational metrics and monthly/quarterly channel performance reviews. Analyze and communicate the impact of key strategy, market, or product changes on the Ad Platforms team and Disney's advertising business. Maintain partner relationships as necessary to ensure channel success and drive business growth. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in ad technology, operations, or support, preferably with a focus on video and advertising technology. Experience with various monitoring toolsets, such as Conviva and DataDog. A "do what it takes" attitude, being flexible, adaptable, and a team-player first. Experience shipping multiple products in an agile software development environment. A proven understanding of systems architecture, design, and implementation. Strong analytical skills and a passion for answering questions with data. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Experience with live video streaming and ad technology. Knowledge of Disney's advertising business and industry trends. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
