Job Opportunity: Senior Payroll Specialist - Remote Data Entry We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of employee payroll, with a high degree of responsibility, discretion, and confidentiality. This is a remote data entry opportunity with a day shift, and the successful candidate will be based in the Philippines and interact with the Finance and Payroll team in APAC. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for assigned APAC countries using a third-party payroll company Prepare, post payroll changes, new hires, and leavers for every entity to the payroll services timely through Workday HCM Validate payroll input against payroll checks and coordinate with payroll carriers for required changes/corrections Coordinate with payroll companies on timely payout to personnel and statutory payments Carry out tasks associated with monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reporting and taxation Serve as the point of contact for employees on payroll questions through the Zendesk ticketing system Record, screen, and report on monthly payroll costs and raise purchase orders Report on payroll services' settlement renewal dates Collaborate with Philippines and Singapore team members and follow global system alignment Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in payroll and accounting processing in a BPO or shared services environment Experience working in APAC payroll, particularly in Korea, Australia, and India Excellent knowledge of payroll and associated statutory labor laws required for payroll-related calculations Above-average proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Microsoft Excel and Word, and Workday Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Workday HCM and payroll processing Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in APAC countries Certification in payroll or accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA) Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment What We Offer: Competitive Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Wellness programs and resources Generous parental leave policies Stock options and bonuses for eligible employees Opportunities for learning and career development through training programs, workshops, and educational resources Employee assistance programs, including mental health support and counseling services Flexible Work Arrangements We offer flexible work arrangements, including remote work options and flexible scheduling, to support work-life balance and employee well-being.
