Job Summary American Express is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Associate - Digital Product Manager to join our Talk Abilities group, focusing on the development and implementation of cutting-edge conversational AI solutions. As a key member of our Automation Development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our conversational AI client servicing products, leveraging client data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Lead the acquisition and synthesis of consistent product discovery efforts, defining product requirements that provide opportunities to elevate the client experience Influence client data, conversational analytics, industry knowledge, and technical expertise to analyze the performance of existing solutions and develop future capabilities Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers across various value streams to deliver products that balance short-term development with long-term investments Work closely with the core product team to define client stories, guide product definition, and develop comprehensive acceptance measures, identifying and addressing any requirements for additional research Lead client testing and post-launch sustainment analysis of automation, identifying opportunities to improve the experience Analyze performance metrics that demonstrate the health of the product and develop clear, data-informed product recommendations Maintain and refine the product backlog, prioritizing client stories to meet the needs of the end-user while focusing on business value Support the definition and creation of the product strategy, roadmap, release plan, and overall client experience Essential Qualifications Four-year college degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field Proven experience in product management, preferably in the financial services or technology industries Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Demonstrated passion for delivering high-quality products and services, with a customer-centric approach Preferred Qualifications Experience with conversational AI, chatbots, or virtual assistants Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills Skills and Competencies Strong business acumen, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages and product management tools Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on innovation and customer experience Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At American Express, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates.
