Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing
Description • Own and lead end-to-end delivery of high-stakes transfer-pricing engagements for Fortune 500 and fast-growing multinational groups, ensuring every study, report, and economic analysis meets Exactera’s exacting quality standards and is delivered on or ahead of schedule. • Serve as the primary strategic advisor to C-suite tax directors, CFOs, and in-house TP teams on the design, implementation, and defense of global transfer-pricing policies that align with OECD Guidelines, U.S. IRC §482, and the rapidly evolving rules in Latin America, Europe, and APAC. • Direct the preparation, review, and sign-off of master files, local files, CBCRs, and APA submissions, leveraging advanced databases (e.g., Orbis, Compustat, RoyaltyStat) and bespoke economic models to benchmark tangible goods, services, intangibles, and financial transactions. • Manage and de-escalate transfer-pricing audits, MAPs, and competent-authority proceedings across multiple jurisdictions—crafting technical rebuttals, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with external counsel when litigation risk arises. • Provide board-level guidance on complex cross-border restructurings, supply-chain migrations, IP migrations, and cost-sharing arrangements, quantifying tax-efficient structures while assessing BEPS 2.0 Pillar One and Pillar Two impacts. • Supervise, mentor, and accelerate the growth of a multidisciplinary team of managers, seniors, and analysts located in New York, London, St. Petersburg FL, and Buenos Aires; conduct real-time coaching, quarterly performance reviews, and individualized development plans. • Drive organic and new-logo revenue by identifying upsell opportunities within existing accounts and leading proposal development for RFPs valued up to USD 2 million, partnering closely with Exactera’s global BD and marketing teams. • Maintain a real-time radar on global regulatory developments—whether it’s the latest Argentinean commodity-export safe harbor, the UK’s draft transfer-pricing documentation regulations, or the U.S. proposed services-cost-method changes—and translate these into actionable client alerts and internal playbooks. • Spearhead internal knowledge-sharing sessions, lunch-and-learns, and technical webinars, raising the collective IQ of the practice while positioning Exactera as a thought leader in transfer pricing. • Contribute to proprietary technology enhancements by feeding field insights into Exactera’s AI-powered benchmarking and workflow tools, ensuring the firm remains at the cutting edge of automation and data analytics. • Foster a culture of psychological safety and high performance across remote and hybrid teams, using agile project-management rituals, clear RACI charts, and transparent KPI dashboards to keep everyone aligned and energized. • Travel up to 20 % (post-pandemic) for client workshops, audit hearings, and internal leadership summits in the Americas and EMEA, always representing Exactera with professionalism and commercial acumen. Requirements • 10+ years of hands-on transfer-pricing experience in a Big 4, boutique TP firm, or multinational in-house tax department. • Demonstrated success managing multi-jurisdictional engagements covering at least three of the following regions: North America, LATAM, EMEA, or APAC. • Deep technical mastery of OECD Guidelines, U.S. IRC §482, and major local TP regulations; familiarity with BEPS 2.0 Pillar One & Two is a strong plus. • Proven leadership track record—having supervised teams of 5+ professionals and directly influenced revenue growth or client retention. • Exceptional project-management skills: ability to scope, budget, and deliver complex engagements on time while juggling competing priorities. • Outstanding written and verbal communication in English; fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable. ️ Benefits • Competitive annual compensation of ARS 70,000–90,000 plus performance-based bonus and equity upside. • Fully remote-first culture with flexible hours and the option to work from any of Exactera’s hubs (NYC, Tarrytown NY, St. Petersburg FL, London, or Buenos Aires) whenever you choose. • Annual professional-development stipend of USD 5,000 for certifications (CTP, CPA, CFA), conferences, and executive education. • 25 days PTO, company-wide mental-health days, and a generous parental-leave policy that exceeds statutory minimums in every jurisdiction.
