Our Delta Team, comprising 9 talented developers, is at the forefront of building the customer-facing frontend layer of our product. We're now seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Ruby-on-Rails powered SaaS application and its Vue.js frontend. About Our Delta Team and Workwarp Our Delta Team works in 5-week-long iterations, inspired by the 'Shape Up' method from Basecamp. This approach enables us to take full responsibility for completing self-contained projects from start to finish, ensuring the customer-facing part of our ChartMogul platform is maintained and extended to meet the evolving needs of our customers. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll be an integral part of this team, collaborating with our Product and Design teams to discuss new features, changes, and improvements to existing functionality. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Delta Team to improve our major Ruby-on-Rails powered SaaS application and its Vue.js frontend, working on a 50:50 split of frontend and backend environment (project dependent). Work closely with our Product and Design teams to discuss new features, changes, and improvements to existing functionality, ensuring that the software you build is well-designed, secure, and reliable. Contribute to the quality of our codebase by reviewing pull requests and providing constructive feedback. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in technology, applying your knowledge to drive innovation and improvement. Enjoy working with other team members and customers to understand and solve their problems, demonstrating clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Technologies We Work With Our tech stack includes: Ruby / Ruby on Rails framework Vue.js and Typescript Postgres and Snowflake AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and Terraform Sidekiq and/or Faktory DataDog and CI/CD systems Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be considered for this role, you'll need: 4+ years of experience developing single-page web applications with a modern JavaScript/RoR stack or a similar stack. Good knowledge of the browser environment and JavaScript toolchains. A pragmatic approach to software development, with a strong emphasis on code quality, quality testing, and maintainability. Clear communication skills, with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into technology solutions. A collaborative and eager mindset to tackle challenges and contribute to design and architecture decisions. While not essential, the following skills and experience are highly desirable: Experience with Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, and Typescript. Knowledge of Postgres, Snowflake, and AWS. Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and Terraform. Experience with Sidekiq and/or Faktory. Understanding of CI/CD systems and DataDog.
