As a Senior Genesys Cloud CX Developer, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Genesys solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Genesys solutions that meet customer needs. Design and implement Genesys contact center applications, including routing strategies, IVR, and chatbots, to enhance customer experience. Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems, ensuring smooth data flow and optimal customer interactions. Leverage Google Dialogflow CX to create intelligent virtual assistants and chatbots that provide personalized customer experiences. Customize and configure Genesys Cloud CX platform to align with business needs and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Genesys applications and integrations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, standards, and emerging technologies in contact center solutions to continuously improve our Genesys solutions. Client-facing role; ability to recommend suggestions along with Level of Effort for suggestions and provide regular progress updates to Sr. PM and Customer. Technical documentation skills (e.g., unit test plans/results, low-level design as needed) to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in computer systems and software development. A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with Genesys solutions, including Genesys Cloud CX, demonstrating your expertise in Genesys technology. Proficiency in Google Dialogflow CX, showcasing your ability to create intelligent virtual assistants and chatbots. A strong understanding of natural language understanding (NLU) and conversational AI, enabling you to design and implement effective conversational experiences. Experience with cloud-based contact center solutions and voice/chat channels, highlighting your ability to work with modern contact center technology. Familiarity with OAuth authentication, service accounts, and API administration, demonstrating your knowledge of security and API management. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, showcasing your capacity to tackle complex technical challenges. Effective communication and collaboration skills, highlighting your ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Skills To take your application to the next level, consider having: Genesys certifications (e.g., Genesys Architect Cert & Genesys Developer Cert at a minimum), demonstrating your expertise and commitment to Genesys technology. Experience using JSON and SQL Programming, showcasing your ability to work with data formats and databases. Knowledge of machine learning and speech recognition technologies, highlighting your understanding of emerging technologies in the contact center space. Previous experience in the city, state, or federal government space, providing valuable context and understanding of government-specific requirements. Familiarity with Genesys Architect for creating call, digital, and message flows, demonstrating your ability to design and implement complex contact center solutions. Integration experience with Zendesk and Salesforce, showcasing your ability to integrate Genesys solutions with popular CRM and customer support platforms. Familiarity with an Agile approach (including Azure Dev Ops; Jira), highlighting your ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment. Understanding the OSI Model A basic understanding of the OSI model is required for this role. The Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model is a conceptual framework that divides network communications functions into seven layers. As a Senior Genesys Cloud CX Developer, you should have a solid grasp of how data is transmitted over a network and how various hardware and software technologies work together to enable seamless communication.
