Our team is comprised of talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and industries, united by a shared passion for creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. **Job Responsibilities:** As a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * **General Ledger Accounting:** Assist in the preparation and review of general ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions, intercompany allocations, and related party transactions. * **Financial Reporting:** Plan and review financial reports on a monthly or quarterly basis, including the preparation of journal entries and analysis of financial data. * **Intercompany Accounting:** Review and reconcile intercompany accounts, address any out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany payments. * **Related Party Transactions:** Track and analyze related party transactions throughout the fiscal year, perform valuation analyses to determine whether related party transactions are at arm's length. * **Collaboration and Communication:** Work closely with the Substance Money, Legal, and other groups within Controllership to obtain necessary supporting documentation, and collaborate with the Supervisor, Financial Accounting - Corporate on ad-hoc projects. * **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Assist in the preparation of Hulu's budget summaries through the planning of financial timetables and references. * **Research and Development:** Research specialized accounting questions and prepare accounting memoranda to report changes in accounting treatment. * **Audit Support:** Assist in managing internal and external audits by responding to requests and preparing status updates. **Essential Qualifications:** * **3+ years of accounting experience** * **Strong knowledge of US GAAP** * **Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft business suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook** * **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization** * **Team-oriented perspective with a positive attitude** * **Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field** **Preferred Qualifications:** * **A combination of public and private sector experience** * **Experience in SAP** * **Experience in the entertainment or technology industry** * **CPA certification** **What We Offer:** * **Competitive salary:** $28-$30/hour * **Remote work opportunities:** Work from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to balance work and personal life * **Opportunities for growth and development:** arenaflex is committed to helping you grow and develop your skills and career * **Collaborative and dynamic work environment:** Join a team of talented and passionate individuals who are dedicated to excellence and innovation * **Comprehensive benefits package:** Enjoy a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for financial accounting, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
