We are seeking a Finance Data Integration & Reporting Specialist who is an integral part of the Finance Customer Service organization, bringing strong accounting, controlling, and FP&A know-how into service-related financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis. The role focuses on the execution, analysis, and optimization of financial data flows, reconciliations, and reporting logic for Finance Customer Service within established accounting standards and governance frameworks (US GAAP / IFRS, HOP, global SHS standards). The position ensures that Finance Customer Service–related revenues, costs, accruals, and KPIs are consistently and transparently reflected across ERP, data, and reporting platforms. The individual acts as a key analytical interface within Finance, closely connecting Finance Customer Service with Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, and IT. The role does not own accounting policies, consolidation standards, or final management sign-off. This role is critical in enabling reliable financial insights for Finance Customer Service in complex, multi-entity environments and during ongoing finance system transformations. Key Responsibilities Financial Data Reconciliation & Alignment Analyze and document end-to-end financial data flows between SAP ERP environments (EHP, P58, Spiridon, S/4HANA), Snowflake, FDM, and reporting tools (Qlik, Power BI, SAC), including Finance Customer Service–related transactions and cost flows. Identify, analyze, and resolve inconsistencies between accounting actuals, FP&A dashboards, and CS operational reporting in collaboration with Accounting, Controlling, Finance Customer Service, and IT. Apply defined reconciliation and validation logic between US operational data (including CS activities) and Company consolidation (HOP). Support post-close validation, intercompany reconciliation, and balance integrity checks for global consolidation, with particular focus on Finance Customer Service–related revenue, cost, and warranty-related postings. ERP & Finance Systems Support (SAP Focus) Support Finance Customer Service and broader Finance stakeholders in a heterogeneous ERP landscape, working with SAP S/4HANA locally while interfacing with non-S/4 ERP systems used by global entities. Validate FI/CO configuration impacts and accounting logic in SAP S/4HANA from a Finance business perspective. Perform reconciliation and consistency checks between SAP S/4HANA and upstream or downstream finance systems, including intercompany and consolidation-relevant data. Analyze and resolve data discrepancies arising from differing ERP structures, charts of accounts, and posting logic across systems. Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to ensure accurate integration of SAP S/4HANA financial data into Snowflake and reporting layers. Reporting Architecture & Data Model Support Support the optimization of existing financial data models within Snowflake and Jedox. Ensure correct application of predefined mappings (cost centers, P&L structures, hierarchies) across source and reporting systems. Contribute to automation initiatives and data lineage documentation for financial KPIs and dashboards. Business Insights & Variance Analysis Translate accounting, controlling, and Finance Customer Service performance data into management-ready financial insights. Prepare, validate, and explain dashboards and reports in Qlik Sense and Power BI covering Finance and Finance Customer Service–related KPIs (e.g. service revenue, cost-to-serve, backlog, warranty cost), in line with corporate definitions. Analyze and explain major financial variances, reconciliation differences, and data integrity topics related to Finance and Finance Customer Service operations to stakeholders. Governance & Continuous Improvement Execute defined data validation, reconciliation, and control processes between Accounting and FP&A. Maintain documentation for data definitions, reconciliation logic, and KPI calculations. Collaborate with global Finance teams to ensure consistent application of reporting logic across regions. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Information Systems. 10+ years of experience in accounting, financial systems, financial reporting, or finance analytics roles, including close collaboration with Finance Customer Service or service-oriented finance functions. Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and accounting principles (US GAAP and/or IFRS). Proven hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA FI/CO implementations or finance system migrations, including financial data migration, reconciliation, and post-go-live validation. Experience working with SAP ERP systems (FI/CO, Asset Accounting, Intercompany) and data integration platforms (e.g. Snowflake, SQL, ETL tools). Hands-on experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud). Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; ability to independently analyze large financial datasets. Preferred Qualifications Experience in global, multi-entity organizations with centralized consolidation (US–EU setup preferred). Hands-on experience with intercompany accounting and consolidation processes. Familiarity with HOP, FDM, Jedox, SAP BW, or SAP Rise environments. Background in Chartered Accountancy or equivalent international accounting qualification. Experience supporting finance automation and reporting optimization initiatives. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to data integrity and detail. Ability to explain complex accounting and data topics to non-technical stakeholders. Structured, reliable working style in regulated finance environments. Collaborative mindset, comfortable working across cultures and time zones (US, Germany, global teams). The base pay range for this position is: $128,490 - $176,671 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
