About the Role The Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics, will play a critical role in leading the charge against adversarial abuse and developing data-driven insights to inform strategic decision making. As a key member of the Trust and Safety team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, and more. Key Responsibilities Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, and engagement manipulation Develop and implement strategies to stay ahead of emerging industry trends and threats, such as generative AI Collaborate with the Policy Development team to create policies that effectively describe and prevent harmful behavior Deliver effective and efficient operational performance, including quality and service levels, in a global team working 24/7 Manage accelerations with tight timelines, providing data-driven insights and implementing policies while building relationships with key cross-functional partners Lead the Business Analytics team in generating insights, measuring uncaught badness, and publishing Transparency Reports for countries around the world Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/deploying analytical models 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that shape data infrastructure and ML models 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks of work as accelerations require Preferred Qualifications Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., analytics, engineering, data science) 2 years of experience in analysis of large datasets and anomaly detection Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab Exceptional influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners Excellent business judgment, strategic and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
