Job OverviewThe Senior Manager, Credit Portfolio Analysis supports the Credit management team, developing models and analyzing data, benchmarking, and presenting results related to the organization's credit portfolio. This role includes support for the enhancement and alignment of customer loyalty programs with credit offerings to maximize revenue, reduce risk, and drive growth. The manager applies a strong analytical background, expertise in the use of appropriate tools, and maintains a customer-centric mindset to drive business insights, strategic growth initiatives, and marketing activities in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities • Develop various financial models, analyze data, and present results for forecasting, planning, and analysis for on-us and off-us credit sales and new credit acquisitions. • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including credit marketing, corporate accounting/finance, digital and customer journey teams, store teams, Citi, and Amex, to drive credit business growth strategies. • Create proformas and postmortem result analysis. • Work with finance, risk management, and data analytics teams to retrieve necessary data from Macy's systems as well as other systems and sources. • Oversee, track, and lead growth related projects. • Develop high quality presentations using tools like PowerPoint. • Accurately forecast and present portfolio performance insights and actionable recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders focused on driving growth in accounts receivable and number of active cardholders. • Collaborate with product and IT teams to ensure smooth technology integration and interaction among various sales, loyalty, and credit systems. • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of current policies and processes, providing recommendations for improvements as needed. • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field; MBA preferred. • 8 years of experience in credit portfolio, financial reporting, or loyalty program analytics, preferably in the retail industry. • Advanced quantitative skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Excel. • Exceptional skills in presenting insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders. • Ability to align credit and loyalty strategies with broader organizational objectives.
