About the Role As a Seasonal Stocker - Early Morning at Michaels, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our stores are stocked, merchandised, and ready for customers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain retail experience, develop your skills, and be part of a dynamic team that shares your passion for creativity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Deliver Exceptional Customer Service : Help customers shop our store, locate products, and provide them with solutions. Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience, and engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards. Stock and Merchandise : Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes. Maintain store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises, and complete merchandise recovery and maintenance tasks, including the merchandise return/go-back process. Support Omni-Channel Processes : Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes, ensuring seamless customer experiences across online and offline channels. Maintain Store Appearance : Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, and support shrink and safety programs to maintain a safe and well-merchandised store environment. Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures : Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements, and execute Company policies and standards. Be a Team Player : Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations, and promote commitment to our organization's vision and values. Cross-Training Opportunities : Be open to cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production, expanding your skills and knowledge. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While prior retail and/or customer service experience is preferred, we're willing to train the right candidate. You may also be required to work outdoors, retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks.
