Script Writer / Creative Strategist (Direct Response)

We’re an 8-figure DTC brand building products that genuinely improve women’s daily comfort and quality of life. We move fast, test constantly, and obsess over creative. Our team is small, sharp, and deeply performance-driven, and we’re looking for a top-tier Script Writer / Creative Strategist to help us scale what’s already working and unlock new growth. This is a performance role for someone who can think like a strategist and write like a human. The Role We’re hiring a Script Writer / Creative Strategist — someone who can analyse performance data, understand customer psychology, and turn insights into high-converting scripts and concepts across paid media and lifecycle. You’ll write scripts that feel natural, empathetic, and believable — while still driving results. You’ll help shape angles, frameworks, and creative direction, not just execute briefs. You’ll work closely with the Creative Strategist and CEO to scale winners, fix underperformers, and develop new angles for different avatars. What You’ll Do - Write high-performing ad scripts (UGC, AI voiceover, conversational, testimonial-style, POV) - Develop strong hooks, openings, and angles tailored to specific avatars and pain points - Create email campaigns (alongside our email agency) that feel warm, human, and trust-building — not pushy - Build digestible landing page sections (listicles, comparisons, problem/solution blocks) - Translate product features into emotionally meaningful benefits (comfort, swelling relief, confidence, mobility, independence) - Review performance data (hooks, angles, avatars) and suggest strategic iterations - Identify new creative opportunities based on what’s scaling — not guesswork - Improve and expand winning concepts rather than constantly reinventing from scratch - Contribute ideas proactively and think beyond the brief What We’re Looking For - A strategic thinker who also writes exceptionally well - Proven experience in direct response copywriting and scriptwriting (DTC experience is a must have) - Deep understanding of different creative frameworks - Strong ability to adapt tone across different avatars, especially older female audiences, without sounding salesy or patronising - Someone who understands why something works — not just how to write it - Comfortable analysing performance and using data to guide creative decisions - Clear, structured communicator with high attention to detail - Fast-moving, organised, and comfortable iterating quickly - Confident using Notion, Google Drive, Sheets/Excel, Slack - Experience in health, wellness, comfort, or problem-solving products You are expected to: - Think like a creative strategist - Challenge weak angles - Improve what’s already live - Understand the customer deeply - Write copy that feels seen, understood, and trusted Work Structure & Compensation - Fully remote - Flexible hours, but commitment to specific working days - Join 1/2 weekly team meeting - Collaborate closely with strategy and leadership $6,000 – $7,000+ per month, depending on experience and skill level Apply tot his job
