The role involves data management, analysis, and collaboration with project teams to generate reports and maintain compliance documentation. Responsibilities Support family and child health focused quality improvement, research, and evaluation activities for the Vermont Child Health Improvement Program Extract, organize, and clean data from multiple sources Implement and improve data management systems Support the work of several project teams in collaboration with leadership Update and apply administrative data sources for annual reporting activities and research Conduct descriptive analyses on new and existing datasets Generate project specific reports and dashboards using specialized software Support manuscript and grant writing Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Institutional Review Board procedures Maintain compliance documentation, draft, and update project protocols Maintain data management plans Skills Bachelor's degree in health, social sciences, or STEM (e.g., public health, psychology, math, biology) One to three years' experience in research, quality improvement or program evaluation Experience with statistical software (e.g., Stata, SPSS, SAS) used for analysis and reporting Experience with office productivity software (e.g., word processing and spreadsheet software) Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Experience conducting research in a healthcare setting Previous work involving healthcare reform, quality improvement activities, or reporting on family and child health data Experience with databases (e.g., Microsoft Access, MySQL) Company Overview Since 1791, the University of Vermont has worked to move humankind forward.
