Renewal Assistant

The Renewals Assistant will work individually and as part of a team to generate renewals for clients under the Small Group segment, focusing on coding renewal rates and handling inquiries. Responsibilities Timely and accurate coding of Renewal sold rates on the client’s billing Calculation of manual rates for In-force quotes Timely and accurate coding of Execution sold rates Calculation and inputting of amendment factors Manipulation of data in Excel and adjusting output to include all nonstandard plan design options in order to accurately calculate manual rates. Manually adjust output to include all nonstandard plan design options Respond to inquiries from the field Order and set up census data for Self accounting groups All other related duties as applicable Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Adobe Acrobat High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Well-developed organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a high volume of work while meeting fixed deadlines Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team Strong mathematical skills Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment Knowledge of PAS, ARC and TOCS is considered an asset Customer service skills are an asset Some knowledge of Group Benefit products would be an asset Benefits Annual bonus Commission Company Overview Canada Life looks after retirement, investments, Estate Planning, Wealth Management, Investing for Children, Flexible Life Plans.
