About the Project This project involves detailed quality control of text entries associated with media entries and media assets. The Remote Tagger / Metadata Specialist will be responsible for reviewing materials and subsequent revisions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency in metadata. The project will have multiple phases, and the selected candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable to meet the client's timelines and business needs. Key Responsibilities Utilize various media archive software tools and proprietary systems to review, edit, and enter media asset metadata, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform consistent and thorough data quality reviews of complex asset and media content metadata, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Research information to support data entry tasks, confirming information and expanding on the completeness of the data record as needed. Collaborate with the larger client project team to meet project goals, manage expectations, and provide feedback on progress and problems. Identify problems and obstacles, escalating them as necessary and participating in problem resolution. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous experience with media-related metadata projects, preferably in a similar industry or role. Self-motivation and commitment to meeting deliverables' quality and timeline requirements. Computer proficiency with good data entry and management skills, as well as knowledge of media content, terminology, and workflows. Prior experience in a media library or familiarity with digital media asset tools, workflows, and technologies is an asset.
