[Remote] Solar Performance Engineer/Analyst

Stott and May is a mission-driven global leader in independent engineering for the renewable energy industry, and they are seeking a Senior Engineer/Analyst for their Performance Engineering team in the Solar Advisory group. This role focuses on the design and development phase of the project lifecycle, conducting solar resource assessments and energy estimates while leading the development of methodologies and tools for solar energy engineering. Responsibilities • Compilation, validation and analysis of meteorological data for solar resource assessments • Estimation of plant losses and calculation of assessment uncertainties • Evaluation of project constraints and risks • Generation of Energy Production Estimates and creation of Reports for Clients • Communicating effectively with clients on complex technical issues Skills • A Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering • C.8 years of related solar energy engineering/analysis experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate technical verbiage effectively • Experience working directly with customers to present technical results/findings • Heavily detail-orientated Company Overview • Stott and May provides intelligent executive recruitment for organisations across the UK, Europe and North America.
