[Remote] People Operations Coordinator - Temporary

National Veterinary Associates is one of the largest communities of veterinary hospitals in the world, and they are seeking a People Operations Coordinator to support their team during a temporary assignment. The role involves managing HR systems, responding to employee inquiries, and assisting with various People Operations projects. Responsibilities • Gain functional proficiency in core HR systems including Benefits Solver, ADP, Dayforce and Service Now (SNOW) • Manages ticket assignments in SNOW • Respond to inquiries on People policy and benefits inquiries from team members and escalate issues appropriately • Assists in the collection, processing, and HRIS entry of various People data • Participates in special projects and initiatives assigned to the People Operations team • Supports the onboarding/off-boarding processes as needed • Assists with ad-hoc reporting needs • Processes People department mail (including, but not limited to time-sensitive, unemployment claims) to appropriate locations Skills • Detail-oriented and adaptable professional • Ability to quickly learn processes • Effective communication across multiple channels • Tech-savvy • Ability to pivot quickly in a dynamic environment • Functional proficiency in core HR systems including Benefits Solver, ADP, Dayforce and Service Now (SNOW) • Manage ticket assignments in SNOW • Respond to inquiries on People policy and benefits inquiries from team members and escalate issues appropriately • Assist in the collection, processing, and HRIS entry of various People data • Participate in special projects and initiatives assigned to the People Operations team • Support the onboarding/off-boarding processes as needed • Assist with ad-hoc reporting needs • Process People department mail (including, but not limited to time-sensitive, unemployment claims) to appropriate locations • Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism at all times • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word • Willing to embrace change with a great attitude and be comfortable with a heavy volume of work • Customer service mindset with the ability to organize and prioritize with minimal guidance; work independently and meet deadlines • Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail • Self-motivated and able to work in a fully remote setting • 1-3 years of experience • High school degree required • Associate's degree • PHR or SHRM-CP Company Overview • At NVA General Practice, we’re on a mission to give every pet their best life.
