[Remote] Instructional Designer & eLearning Developer – 1099 Contractor
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ElevatED Systems is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer & eLearning Developer to support the design and development of high-quality learning solutions. This role focuses on delivering defined project outcomes and offers opportunities to expand into project coordination and delivery leadership as business needs evolve. Responsibilities • Design and develop interactive eLearning modules aligned to defined project requirements • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) • Create storyboards, assessments, course assets, and supporting documentation • Develop and publish courses using tools such as Articulate, Adobe and Canva • Ensure learning materials meet accessibility standards (WCAG/508) • Collaborate with subject matter experts and client stakeholders to validate content and outcomes • Conduct quality reviews and revisions based on feedback and performance data • As projects expand, support coordination of timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional contributors Skills • Demonstrated experience in instructional design and eLearning development • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design best practices • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deliverables, and meet agreed-upon deadlines • Experience coordinating or leading learning projects • Multimedia development experience (audio, video, motion graphics) • Familiarity with learning evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick) • Experience creating measurable learning outcomes and performance metrics Company Overview • Siris is a consulting firm founded in 2017.
