[Remote] Informatics Application Engineer/Project Manager

The role involves delivering technical expertise to drive sales, managing integrated solutions for customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective project management. Responsibilities • Delivers scientific/technical expertise to help drive sales and provide support for new and existing customers. • Manages the delivery of large integrated solutions to an external customer, or in support of a major enterprise-wide program, often involving multi-function and multi-vendor efforts. • Provides expertise during various phases of the sales process including pre-sales technical and application support for the sales team, which may include customer requirements analysis, sample analysis and/or feature-by-feature customer demonstrations, preparing and presenting technical presentations and seminars to potential customers, benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation/execution of solution/application. • Determines overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements. Drives and delivers expected results according to agreed project scope, cost, quality and timeline milestones. • Understands customer’s problems, recommends solutions to meet their needs, and ensures customer satisfaction. • Integrates Agilent products, applications and/or solutions into customer’s environment. • Ensures the product/application functions per specifications. • Provides remote and on-site troubleshooting. • Maintains close alignment with sales partners, management, R&D and product marketing to communicate customer feedback. • Coordinates internal and external project team members’ contribution, including working with third party vendors to complete project activities. • May present information at conferences, seminars and e-seminars. • Must consent to participate in and meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain site access, unless prohibited by law.
