Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sleep Therapy Inbound Customer Service Representative to join our Sleep Central Inbound Call Center team in the Murray Operations division. As a key member of our team, you will serve as the first line of contact for CPAP resupply customers, providing exceptional patient care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include new order intake, verifying and entering patient demographics, payer and physician-related information, and assisting customers with basic sleep coaching and equipment maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Act as a patient advocate to resolve questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner Collect patient and source information, inputting data into our e-Intake system with accuracy and attention to detail Complete thorough verification for products and services, ensuring compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and FDA and JCAHO guidelines Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current products and services offered by blithequark, including various mask interfaces and CPAP equipment Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, providing basic technical customer service assistance for CPAP equipment and educating patients on CPAP supplies Manage all aspects of initial intake via high-volume inbound phone calls, processing related patient paperwork and tickets to ensure timely fulfillment of product orders Provide education to patients and location employees on CPAP supplies, using our e-Intake proprietary system to maintain accuracy and quality control throughout initial patient contact and data input Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with one to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment Experience in the medical field and administrative record management, with a strong customer service background Basic computer and internet skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing A valid driver's license in your state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position) Ability to pass a background investigation (company-wide) and complete a typing test and basic computer skills assessment Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of billing reimbursement and insurance policies and requirements, as well as medical billing practices Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME) Medical terminology and knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and FDA and JCAHO guidelines Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret a variety of instructions and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Self-motivation, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel, and the ability to navigate the internet and use email transmission and communication Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
