Remote Frontend Engineer - Sorella Labs

Join us as a Frontend Engineer at Sorella Labs, where you will lead development in building all user-facing interfaces. This role is ideal for those with expertise in creating engaging, intuitive websites and applications that flow logically and are visually compelling. This full-time role is open to remote candidates, with a preference for in-person collaboration based in our Soho, Manhattan office. Responsibilities • Contribute to the architecture and design of our web applications, actively structuring the user experiences for our DEX protocol and for a first-of-its-kind, programmable MEV data platform • Build and maintain all visual and logical web and mobile components for our landing pages, application frontends, and internal portals, across major devices and browsers • Collaborate with our entire team to ensure seamless connection between our backend and frontend systems and implementation of new features • Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests and documentation • Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in our codebases • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive Qualifications • Demonstrated experience in developing frontends with modern frameworks and technologies such as Next.js and Tailwind CSS • Proficiency in building REST APIs, optimally structuring SQL queries, and integrating other JavaScript libraries into frontend applications • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tooling • Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles • Ability to contribute effectively in an asynchronous work environment, both as part of a team and independently • A strong passion for maintaining a high standard of code quality Nice to Haves • A basic understanding of and interest in Ethereum and Web3, with experience building dApp frontends • Skilled in HTML canvas manipulation (p5.js) and/or custom map building (Mapbox GL) • Familiarity making visually-intuitive dashboards, graphs, and charts from complex datasets Benefits • New NYC office in Soho • Comprehensive health, dental and vision • 401k + match • Gym reimbursement • Industry conference, event and travel opportunities Join Our Team We're about passion, impact, and real-world solutions.
