[Remote] Analytics Engineer (L5) - Simulator (Pricing)

The Senior Analytics Engineer will design metrics, provide insights through deep dive analysis, and collaborate with partner teams to enhance end-to-end analytics initiatives for the new ad-supported tier. Responsibilities • Partner with Data Engineers to design and implement robust data models and pipelines that enable richer, faster, and more accurate analysis. • Design, build, and maintain scalable, self-service analytics tools and data products to drive adoption across the business. • Develop, define, and maintain key metrics and dashboards for executive and business-critical reporting. • Analyze and interpret data to understand and improve the efficiency of the ads marketplace, providing recommendations to optimize ad delivery, performance, and revenue. • Develop and maintain observability and monitoring solutions for machine learning models, ensuring model performance, reliability, and early detection of anomalies or drift. • Enable A/B testing and experimentation by building robust data pipelines and providing accurate experiment tracking. • Proactively identify gaps and opportunities for innovation in analytics engineering, and drive initiatives to address them. • Experiment with and evaluate new technologies, including Generative AI solutions, to improve analytics, reporting, and data accessibility. • Translate complex data insights and technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Skills • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or similar), and 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, analytics engineering, or a similar data field. • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred). • Experience with modern data warehousing (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake). • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL frameworks, and analytics tools. • Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. • Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process. • Prior experience in ad tech, streaming, technology, or consumer-facing products is a plus.
