Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team in Georgia. As an RBT, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in their homes, working collaboratively with our BCBAs to implement treatment plans and drive progress. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in their homes, implementing treatment plans established by our BCBAs Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using this information to inform treatment decisions Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans, using ABA principles and techniques Work collaboratively with our BCBAs to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining a high level of professionalism and communication Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, with all necessary materials and equipment Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment sessions, including data collection and progress notes Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or working towards a degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) Experience working with children in a 1:1 setting, preferably with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities 1-year ABA/RBT experience, or 1-2 years of experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of hire Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, and a valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 35lbs, and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time Preferred Qualifications: Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families Familiarity with ABA therapy and treatment planning Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities What We Offer Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Competitive hourly rate, starting at $21/hour and upwards based on experience Bonuses and incentive programs, up to $4,000 offered Flexible scheduling, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available Opportunities for career growth and advancement, including university partnerships, supervision, practicum, and mentoring Tuition discount with our partner universities Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification assistance and FREE 40h course Professional Development and Growth: In-depth ABA training and support, to help you grow and develop in your role Opportunities for professional growth and advancement, including BCBA supervision and mentoring University partnerships and tuition discounts, to help you achieve your educational goals Work Environment and Culture: Collaborative and supportive team environment, with a focus on compassion and empathy Opportunities for professional growth and development, in a dynamic and growing organization Flexible scheduling and remote work options, to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance How to Apply If you are passionate about helping children and families, and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with autism, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services.
