Job Summary: The Risk Advisory Assessment Analyst provides Pinkerton with high-quality, knowledge-based insights regarding a specific area of expertise, such as a country/region, topic or recurring event, or facility physical security. This position can be based anywhere (remote) within the United States. Essential Functions: • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. • A fundamental understanding of a facility physical security risk assessment. • Ability to create and manage security assessment evaluation criteria for open source and physical security assessments. • Ability to analyze intelligence briefings, security assessments, and relative data to identify trends. • Experience assessing threats and their potential impact to provide analysis and guidance for addressing identified risks. • Develop and train risk advisors and consultants on risk assessment templates, tools, and guidelines. • Check text for style, readability, and adherence to the a style guide. • Demonstrated ability to define, operationalize, and manage a data-driven digital platform for data collection and dissemination. • Identify, recruit, and conduct initial qualification of potential consultants. • All other duties, as assigned. Education, Experience, and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security, Public Administration with a focus on public safety, Security Management, Emergency Management, or other related areas of study. A certification in physical security is desired such as PSP, CPP, CSMP, CEM, etc. Minimum 2 years experience with security assessments/analysis experience and/or in a similar role. Competencies: • Experience with physical security threat assessment, vulnerability assessment, and risk assessments. • Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision. • Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation. • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills. • Strong research capabilities and open-source intelligence collections. • Able to identify and solve complex problems by analyzing raw data and information from multiple unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product. • Strong inductive reasoning skills to provide a proactive approach to identifying and assessing current or potential threats. • Able to present and defend unbiased intelligence positions. • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. • Able to clearly presentation data, information, and instructions to support the use of multi-platform digital tools (PC, mobile devices, etc.). • Computer skills; Microsoft Office suite of products, experience with industry security intelligence tools is a plus. Salary & Benefits Information: Rate of pay: $65,000/year. .
