Personal Brand Strategist - Ongoing Role after completed Milestones - Contract to Hire
Greetings! A little bit about me: I’ve been offline for years, and now that I’m building my brand, not having an online presence just feels stupid. People don’t connect with logos; they connect with humans. I want an online presence that feels like me, not a watered-down “content creator version” of myself. Offline, I’m confident, funny, intentional, and people get me instantly. But the second a camera appears, I start overthinking, my personality disappears, and everything feels stiff. I know the kind of presence I want: something that feels like a diary, not a performance. I don’t want to teach or preach. I want to build a space where people feel connected to who I am and what I’m building, because a brand without community is just clothes. I want people to follow along because they feel something when they see me, not because I’m shouting advice or pretending to be relatable. Not to be mistaken for founder-led social accounts, my brand would be a small portion. If you know how to build a personal brand without making it cringey, salesy, or motivational-quote coded, keep reading!! HOW WE’LL WORK TOGETHER We’ll build the foundation properly first. After that, we move into an ongoing retainer for regular refinement and direction. MILESTONE 1: Identity & Direction (2–4 hrs) Help me understand how I should exist online without losing myself. I want clarity on the version of me we are amplifying, not a new persona. This includes what I show, what I don’t, how I need to behave on camera, and the emotional effect my presence should have. Output: what I show vs what stays offline tone, cadence, and emotional signature how I appear on camera without performing boundaries that protect my private life the feeling my content leaves people with my digital “presence code” – what makes me recognisable MILESTONE 2 - Signature Content Formats (3–4 hrs) Develop natural content formats that allow me to show my personality, lifestyle, process, and aesthetic without needing to sit and talk at the camera. If you believe a signature series helps long-term recognition, incorporate it - otherwise keep it simple and grounded. Output: 3–5 formats covering: what they look like the hook style how personality comes through without forcing it platform fit (TikTok vs IG) optional signature series if it strengthens recognition MILESTONE 3 - 8-Week Rollout Calendar (3- 4 hrs) I want to start posting in February. This calendar needs to build momentum in a way that feels natural, not staged, leading into key life moments without making me look like someone posting “for content”. Output: A calendar outlining: weekly themes and tone shifts what to capture from real life cadence I can realistically stick to where curiosity turns into community MILESTONE 4 - Initial Content Concepts (2–4 hrs) Give me actual ideas I can execute without overthinking. No scripts. Just directions that help me press record, exist, and still communicate something. Output: 6–10 ideas hooks + angles + captions direction examples of what a moment looks like (POV, outfit, diary tone, humour, behind-the-scenes) how to turn a normal day into something worth watching MILESTONE 5 - Calibration Session (1–2 hrs) Once the first posts go live, we refine. Keep what feels like me, cut what feels forced, and sharpen the direction. Output: what’s working what to double down on what to remove how to keep momentum without burnout ONGOING RELATIONSHIP After Milestone 5, we shift into a monthly retainer for weekly or bi-weekly reviews and direction. This isn’t social media management it’s partnership, refinement, and identity-building. YOU’LL SUIT THIS ROLE IF you understand nuance and identity, not just trends you know how to build presence, not noise you can extract personality without inventing a persona your work feels human, not templated you don’t rely on quotes, tips, or “how to be that girl” content you know how to make someone interesting online without them oversharing TO APPLY Send me: - An example of a personal brand you’ve shaped - One sentence explaining what makes someone worth following Please, can you answer the below screening questions? 1.
