As a Patient Engagement Specialist, you will be at the forefront of this movement, working closely with healthcare professionals, insurance support partners, and specialty pharmacies to drive patient access and support. Key Responsibilities As a Patient Engagement Specialist, you will serve as the primary interface between healthcare professionals and our client's Market Access Patient Services team. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing support to healthcare professionals on insurance support, problem resolution, access support, and office staff education Collaborating with a 3rd party insurance support partner and specialty pharmacies as the primary point of contact Working closely with field roles, HUB case managers, sales, and national accounts to ensure seamless patient support Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of local, regional, and national insurance authorization policies and barriers Maintaining high ethical and compliance standards in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BS, BA); a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred At least 2+ years of experience in a specialty pharmaceutical field-based role, preferably in the area of "rare diseases" Case management, patient services, or pharmaceutical market access experience A proven understanding of pharmacy benefit designs, prior authorization processes, and specialty pharmacy treatment pathways Fluency in both English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications listed above, we are looking for candidates with: A deep understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry and the challenges faced by healthcare professionals and patients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work independently and as part of a remote team A strong commitment to maintaining high ethical and compliance standards What We Offer As a Patient Engagement Specialist with our client, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of $150K-$165K, as well as: A performance-based bonus structure A Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program Opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic and innovative industry The flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the central US, from Texas to Minnesota Career Growth and Learning Benefits As a member of our client's team, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, enabling you to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
