What to Expect: Key Responsibilities Patient Identification and Registration: Accurately identify and register patients, ensuring all necessary information is collected and verified. Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule services for patients, coordinate with healthcare providers, and manage complex scheduling requirements. Population Management and Chronic Disease Management: Support initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and managing chronic diseases. Pre-Registration and Insurance Verification: Complete pre-registration tasks, verify insurance eligibility, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Customer Service and Communication: Handle incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service. Ticket Scheduling and Follow-up: Manage ticket scheduling, follow up with patients, and resolve any issues that may arise. Essential Qualifications: What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need: Clinical Healthcare Experience or Patient Scheduling Background: A minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical healthcare, patient scheduling, or a contact/call center environment. Patient Access Certification: Completion of Healthcare Business Insight's Patient Access Certification Program within six months of hire date. Designated HBI Courses: Completion of designated HBI courses within one year of hire date. Data Entry Skills: Proficient data entry skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently manage patient data. Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
