Job Summary As a Patient Communications Specialist at PaceMate, you will be the primary point of contact for patients and cardiology clinics, providing exceptional customer service, support, and engagement. Your responsibilities will include facilitating accurate, timely, and smooth interactions within our professional community. Key Responsibilities Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Demonstrate kindness, patience, and empathy when interacting with patients and cardiology clinics, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Effective Communication: Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills, with the ability to document interactions and provide clear instructions. Data Entry and Scheduling: Complete data entry and appointment scheduling tasks in multiple information systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Patient Connectivity: Proactively monitor internal databases for loss of patient connectivity to home/remote monitoring, and facilitate patient connectivity with home monitoring equipment. Troubleshooting: Assist patients with troubleshooting home monitoring equipment and provide technical support as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to meet customer needs and ensure seamless communication. Project Support: Assist leadership with projects as directed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Education: High school diploma/GED required; college or technical degree, healthcare-related certification, or equivalent experience preferred. Cardiology Knowledge: Basic cardiology knowledge, cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac device experience preferred. Technology Skills: Excellent internet and technology skills required; experience with EHR (Electronic Health Record) and remote monitoring website data entry and scheduling tools preferred. Remote Work Experience: Experience working effectively and productively within a remote environment preferred. Flexibility: Flexibility to work occasional evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, or a related field. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and internal stakeholders. Technical Skills: Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
