As a Part-Time Remote Offsite Invoice Payment Specialist - Data Entry, you will play a critical role in our payment management solutions. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining a personal computer to enter data for paying freight invoices and reporting information. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a flexible, part-time schedule, such as stay-at-home parents, caregivers, homeschool parents, and retirees. Key Responsibilities and Duties Operate a personal computer to accurately enter required customer data by interpreting various source documents and coded information. Perform required steps as dictated by online programs and procedures, handling exception items per established guidelines. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the transportation industry concepts and terms necessary for accurate data entry. Grasp the fundamentals of the billing/payment process and adhere to Cass generic procedures and customer-specific requirements. Logically plan your workday by prioritizing tasks and following established routines to meet time and quality standards. Utilize organizational skills to ensure that all bills are accounted for and processed efficiently. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must possess: A high school diploma or equivalent. Specialized training in keyboarding or prior keyboarding experience. The ability to type 9,000 keystrokes per hour with high accuracy. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. The capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. A positive work attitude and a commitment to consistently working scheduled hours. Flexibility to adjust schedules and/or account assignments as necessary. Willingness to attend a 2+ week paid training program in-person at our Bridgeton office in the St. Louis area.
