Job Overview In this exciting role, you will be the face of our brand, interacting with shoppers, and showcasing products in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and introduce Kroger shoppers to food and beverage products through sampling, thereby promoting sales and enhancing the shopping experience. Key Responsibilities Promote sales by preparing and introducing Kroger shoppers to food and beverage products through in-store sampling. Engage with shoppers, answer questions, and provide product information in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. Prepare, cook, and clean the work area and equipment as required for product demonstrations. Use a smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift, ensuring accurate reporting and feedback. Collaborate with store management and teammates to achieve sales goals and enhance the shopping experience. Travel to multiple Kroger stores each week, demonstrating flexibility and reliability. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: Be at least 18 years old. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis. Availability to work 2-3 days a week, including 1 weekend day. Comfortable standing for 4-6 hours while distributing samples in-store. Basic smartphone or tablet skills to record work after each shift. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel to multiple Kroger stores each week. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate: Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales. Basic knowledge of food and beverage products. Experience with in-store promotions or product demonstrations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
