About the Role We are seeking a part-time mechatronics instructor to join our team at arenaflex. As a mechatronics instructor, you will be responsible for teaching classes in basic DC and AC electricity, electrical power distribution and wiring, 3-phase motors control systems, fluid power systems, mechanical drive systems, DC power systems, test and measurement instrumentation systems, programmable logical controller interfacing and programming, and industrial robotic systems. You will also be expected to create and maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for students from diverse multicultural, socioeconomic, and academic backgrounds. Key Responsibilities Instruct classes in mechatronics technology using active learning approaches that engage and facilitate student learning Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques and pursue professional development to stay current in the field Obtain and maintain Professional-Technical Certification requirements Participate in program, curriculum development, and assessment activities Work collaboratively with colleagues, businesses, advisory committees, and other educational partners to create unique learning opportunities Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds Understand and commit to the mission of arenaflex Qualifications and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechatronics or a related field.
