About the Role As a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern, you will be an integral part of our technology team, working closely with business clients to analyze needs, develop technical solutions, and ensure alignment with internal tooling, business strategies, and departmental standards. Your role will be multifaceted, involving project management, collaboration with various teams, and participation in systems and acceptance testing. The scope of work may vary depending on the team task, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business clients to conduct needs analysis relative to systems and business processes to create quality technical solutions. Ensure solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and compliance to departmental standards. Manage timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementing to guarantee solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Act as a liaison to ensure effective communication between business and technology teams. Participate in systems and acceptance testing. Scope of work varies depending on the team task, ensuring a dynamic and challenging environment. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fundamental knowledge of information security and risk mitigation principles, theories, and methods (preferred). Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm (preferred). Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) (preferred). Basic understanding of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement (preferred). Major comprehension of project management methodologies, including the ability to plan, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program (preferred). Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels within the organization. Fundamental knowledge of technical environments. Exposure to Agile methodologies (preferred). Coursework or experience related to Cybersecurity (preferred). Capacity to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous projects under tight deadlines. Previous analyst entry-level position experience within the last year (preferred). Experience solving business problems in a capstone or case competition (preferred).
