Paralegal – Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Paralegal Manager to in Dallas, Texas. In this Contract to hirerole, you will oversee the paralegal team, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality legal support, and adherence to detail-oriented standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape a skilled team while contributing to the firm’s overall success. Responsibilities: • Supervise and guide the paralegal team to ensure high standards of work and compliance with legal and firm procedures. • Monitor workloads and availability of paralegals, effectively allocating tasks and projects. • Collaborate with attorneys to address special requests and ensure timely completion of both routine and complex assignments. • Lead the recruitment process for paralegal roles, including interviewing and onboarding new hires. • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs to support team development. • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing paralegals. • Prepare and deliver regular reports on paralegal productivity and administrative tasks to management. • Oversee client procedures to ensure accuracy and adherence to established guidelines. • Work closely with the Director of Administration to evaluate staffing levels and identify opportunities for promotions. • Maintain punctuality and flexibility to meet the demands of the position, which may require extended or irregular hours. • Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing paralegal team in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines. • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across all organizational levels. • In-depth knowledge of Patent Prosecution legal principles and practices, supported by formal training or equivalent experience. • Proficiency in legal software, document management systems, and standard office applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel. • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure and in stressful conditions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and persuasively. • Familiarity with estate planning, probate law, calendar management, and corporate legal management systems.
