a Smart Technologies, growing medical device company, has an immediate opening for a newly added role of Sr. Sales Operations Analyst responsible for designing, implementing, and managing sales compensation programs, driving data-driven insights, and optimizing sales performance in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Commercial Operations. This role ensures compensation plans, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions align with company strategy and objectives. Responsible for implementing and maintaining Sales Reporting, KPIs, and analytics tools to deliver actionable insight into sales data using Power BI, ERP system, and other data visualization platforms. Coordinate monthly meetings with sales teams, leadership, and other key stakeholders to review sales performance, discuss challenges, and align reporting priorities. As a strategic partner with Sales and Marketing, provide data-driven insights to proactively identify and execute opportunities to improve sales performance and accelerate market growth. Partner with Sales Operations and Finance to maintain a reliable commercial data framework and reporting structure for strategic decision-making. ERP/BI Analyst, liaison between business users and technical teams to define and deliver reporting that meets the requirements. Build financial and statistical models (including regression and sensitivity analyses) to assess sales plan effectiveness and ensure alignment with business targets. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for sales performance tracking and compensation plan integrity. In partnership with Sales and Finance Leadership, design, model, and analyze internal and external sales compensation plans and incentive programs to drive strategic initiatives that support company goals. - Provide an estimate of the full-year financial impact of compensation programs and reconcile payout data. Serve as first-line support for field questions related to compensation and sales reporting. - Provide actionable insights of sales performance by geography, product line, and account segmentation to improve performance and achieve targets. BA/BS degree and experience of 5 years, or 7 years without degree, in sales compensation, sales operations, sales analytics or sales enablement Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills Familiarity with sales alignment, territory planning, reporting and analytics RP and BI applications and how they intertwine in the areas of finance, order management, manufacturing, warehouse/inventory, and reporting Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the experience and ability to communicate with large sales teams and relevant stakeholders Ability to speak both business process and technical process Project management skills that demonstrate the ability to build, manage and execute upon a plan individually and with cross-functional process improvement teams Demonstrated ability to design, document, and implement business processes within an ERP application working with functional leaders and team members Strong proficiency using MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Competitive compensation including bonus and equity Apply tot his job
