Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Lead – Aerospace & Defense (Contract) Contract Length: 6–12 months Location:Hybrid (25% onsite) Industry: Aerospace & Defense Employment Type: Contract Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Lead with Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry expertise to support a complex Oracle Cloud ERP initiative. This consultant will act as the functional authority for Oracle Cloud Financials, partnering closely with finance leadership, program management, contracts, and IT stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable financial solutions aligned with government contracting requirements. This role is ideal for a senior-level Oracle Cloud Financials professional who has led multiple implementations and understands the regulatory and operational complexities of A&D organizations. Responsibilities • Serve as the Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Lead, owning end-to-end solution design and delivery • Lead functional requirements gathering and solution workshops with finance, contracts, and compliance teams • Configure and support Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including: • General Ledger (GL) • Accounts Payable (AP) • Accounts Receivable (AR) • Fixed Assets (FA) • Cash Management (CM) • Intercompany Accounting • Revenue Management (RMCS) • Apply Aerospace & Defense–specific financial expertise, including: • Government contracting and cost-plus accounting • FAR, DFARS, and CAS compliance • Program- and project-based financial structures • Collaborate with Oracle Cloud Projects, SCM, and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate financial integration • Support data conversion, reconciliation, and testing cycles (SIT, UAT) • Partner with technical teams on reports, integrations, and extensions • Lead or support end-user training, documentation, and go-live activities Required Qualifications • 8+ years of Oracle ERP Financials experience, with substantial hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials implementation work • Proven experience as a Functional Lead or Solution Architect on multiple Oracle Cloud ERP projects • Direct experience supporting Aerospace & Defense or government contracting organizations • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and related compliance frameworks • Deep understanding of financial controls, cost accounting, audit readiness, and revenue recognition • Excellent stakeholder communication and client-facing consulting skills • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced contract environment Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Oracle Cloud Projects Financial Management • Prior large-scale ERP transformation or multi-entity implementation experience • Oracle Cloud Financials certifications • Experience working in regulated or secure environments Apply tot his job
