Key Responsibilities As a Remote New Business Intake Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include: Managing daily workflow : Run conflict checks, assign client matter numbers, and make necessary client matter adjustments while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Client matter modifications : Handle all client matter modifications, assign affiliations, and process reports such as Dunn and Bradstreet (DNBi)/Hoover to maintain system integrity and database cleanliness. Communication with attorneys : Notify attorneys of issues during the matter opening process, manage client matter re-openings, and complete exiting attorney reports and file closures. Confidentiality and data integrity : Safeguard client and employee confidences by maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all firm policies and procedures. Training and mentorship : Train and mentor new NBI hires, staff, and attorneys on NBI policies and procedures, ensuring efficiency and prioritization in a fast-paced environment. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed as a Remote New Business Intake Coordinator, you'll need: Essential Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of NBI/Conflicts experience : Prior experience in the legal industry, preferably in new business intake or conflicts. Bachelor's degree : A degree in a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office applications : Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Computerized Conflicts/Workflow software : Experience with conflicts and workflow software, such as Serengeti or Mitratech.
