Position Summary CereCore is seeking a MEDITECH Expanse Pharmacy (PHA) Analyst to join our team supporting the Pharmacy domain. This position plays a key role in optimizing and maintaining the Pharmacy module within the MEDITECH Expanse environment for HCA Healthcare, ensuring workflows and configurations align with clinical and operational needs. The analyst will partner closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, clinicians, and IT stakeholders to drive enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions that improve patient care and medication safety. The position requires minimal travel and provides a collaborative environment with the ability to share knowledge, innovate, and support continuous improvement in pharmacy operations through technology. Responsibilities • Participate in the installation, configuration, and optimization of clinical electronic healthcare systems. • Apply working knowledge of Health Information Systems to support and enhance the MEDITECH Pharmacy environment. • Incorporate client feedback to drive continuous process improvement and support organizational culture change initiatives. • Use professional expertise to advise clients on optimal workflows, system functions, and best practices within the Pharmacy module. • Share knowledge with peers through structured peer-to-peer training and collaboration. • Develop clear and comprehensive documentation and project content for internal and external stakeholders. • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication, provide exceptional customer service, and work effectively both independently and within project teams. • Manage client communications, ensuring understanding of project best practices, timelines, deliverables, risk mitigation strategies, and client responsibilities. • Monitor work for accuracy, quality, and completeness, while proactively addressing any issues that arise. • Support team and client learning by sharing knowledge and helping to drive process improvements across projects. • Prioritize workload effectively, assist peers with task identification and tracking, and ensure alignment with overall project goals. • Contribute to strategic project planning and participate in developing statements of work (SOWs) based on project knowledge. • Integrate lessons learned into departmental methodologies to enhance future project execution and performance. Requirements • Active U.S.- issued Pharmacist license required. • Highly preferred: Experience with Operating Room (OR) workflows and/or data extraction and manipulation skills (e.g., Excel, SQL, or data analysis tools). • 5+ years of experience in the Pharmacy domain. • Expertise with the MEDITECH Expanse or MAGIC Pharmacy module. • Experience building and maintaining pharmacy order sets. • Proficiency in mapping NDCs to Drug IDs. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). • Strong documentation, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Ability to independently create high-quality deliverables and provide coaching or functional guidance on specific project tasks. • Capable of communicating technical and functional requirements effectively to development, testing, education, and training teams. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. • A strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and ownership of work. • Adaptable, flexible, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment. • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and commitment to excellent customer service. • Eagerness to learn new technologies, methods, and processes. • Respect for diverse experiences, perspectives, and opinions. Education • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related healthcare/technology field preferred. • Advanced degrees (PharmD, MS in Health Informatics, MBA) or an equivalent combination of education and experience are a plus.
