Job Summary As a Logistic Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing logistical support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth flow of packages and shipments. You will work in a remote setting, utilizing your strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and improve processes. Key Responsibilities Engage in quick and demanding tasks in a warehouse environment, such as loading, unloading, and categorizing packages of different weights and sizes. Part-time employees are assigned to complete one work shift each day, while full-time employees are assigned to complete two. The length of shifts for full-time employees can vary from 6 to 10 hours, and this is usually influenced by the volume of packages being processed. Receiving extra pay for working more than 40 hours in a week. Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and improve processes. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the smooth flow of packages and shipments. Maintain accurate records and reports, as required. Participate in ongoing training and development to improve knowledge and skills. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Logistic Support Specialist, you will need: Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree or higher in a related field. 2-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field. Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment. Certification in logistics or transportation, such as a Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) or a Certified Transportation Broker (CTB).
