Job Summary As a Lead Teacher at Childcare Network, you will be responsible for creating a safe, warm, and inviting classroom environment that promotes learning and development. You will work closely with families, colleagues, and children to provide high-quality care and education. Key Responsibilities Provide and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that meets state and company standards. Communicate daily with families regarding student progress, needs, and achievements. Develop strong professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to encourage parent and community engagement. Maintain high-quality standards of care for every child, adhering to minimum licensing, quality rated, and accreditation guidelines. Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, ensuring nutritional and dietary needs are met. Utilize our science-based, proprietary curriculum and suggested supplement activities to create a fun and engaging learning environment. Keep daily records, including attendance, child portfolios, USDA documentation, and other records required by local agencies. Contribute to the center's success by partnering with team members and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditations, and family engagement. Requirements Genuine warmth and understanding of the needs of young children and their families. Positive attitude and self-image with a commitment to innovation and creativity. Strong communication skills with coworkers, parents, and children. 1-3 years of teaching experience or certification (if not, we will help you obtain certification). High School Diploma or GED required. Must pass the state-required criminal background check. Must meet all state certifications and requirements. Preferred Qualifications Early childhood education certification or degree. Experience working with children aged six weeks to twelve years. Familiarity with our proprietary curriculum and educational programs.
