Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Grade School Gymnastics Coach to join our team. As a Gymnastics Coach at The Little Gym of Lake Oswego, you will be responsible for teaching and managing our parent-child, preschool, and grade school programs. Your positive energy, enthusiasm, and passion for working with children will make you a valuable asset to our team. Your key responsibilities will include: Teaching Classes: You will be responsible for teaching gymnastics classes to children of various ages and skill levels, including parent-child, preschool, and grade school programs. Providing Outstanding Member Service: You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, building long-lasting relationships with our members and their families. Selling the Program: You will be responsible for promoting our programs to new and existing customers, highlighting the benefits and value of our services. Developing Entrepreneurial and Creative Skills: As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your entrepreneurial and creative skills, contributing to the growth and development of our business. Ideal Candidate We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about working with children, physical fitness, and health and wellness. The ideal candidate will have: Experience Coaching Gymnastics: Experience coaching gymnastics to children aged 6-12, as well as experience working with parent-child, preschool, and grade school programs. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey the benefits of our programs and build strong relationships with our members and their families. Experience Working with Children: A background in working with children, such as preschool teaching, daycare, sports camps, or similar experience. Background in Fitness: A background in fitness, athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field. Sincere Love of Children: A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment for them to grow and develop.
