About the Role arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Science Consultant to join our Customer Excellence Data and Analytics (CEDA) organization. As a Lead Data Science Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation by leveraging advanced data science techniques, machine learning, and natural language processing to deliver actionable insights and recommendations. You will lead complex initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop innovative solutions to drive business success. Key Responsibilities Lead the full analytics development cycle, including data mining, analysis, and modeling using advanced techniques such as machine learning and natural language processing Develop and implement predictive models to identify performance issues and opportunities, and deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and senior managers to drive recommendations and strategies based on data-driven insights and trends Execute complex analytical experiments and create innovative statistical models to discover solutions for abstract business problems Interpret and analyze data using advanced analytics modeling methods and programming to recommend ways to solve problems and influence business decisions Provide consultation to peers on data science best practices, methods, and tools to leverage Communicate actionable insights and recommendations using data in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 5+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science Desired Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Fluency in SAS, Python, SQL (Teradata) Deep experience with Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Model (LLM) Extensive model development and model validation experience, including end-to-end model build efforts from discovery to deployment Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience Adept at designing and performing model testing, including explainability, robustness, fairness testing, etc. Proficient in creating accompanying documentation in the model development process Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: Strong technical skills in data science, machine learning, and programming languages such as Python, SAS, and SQL Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop innovative solutions Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders A strong understanding of business operations and the ability to drive business growth and innovation through data-driven insights Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
